With Purim right around the corner, the Green Roomers this week have been busy mixing, rolling, patting, and pinching up a storm. Hamantaschen are triangular shaped cookies with filling – traditionally fruit preserves, but could be filled with anything from chocolate to cheese! The children love that these holiday treats reference the villain in of the story of Purim. (As the story goes, Haman, the “bad guy”, wore a three cornered hat.)
