This morning was Sophie’s turn to share her family traditions. Mommy and Daddy came into school this morning and spoke about Chanukah. Mommy talked about light and miracles. We showed the class three different menorahs… one that Sophie made in Pre-K. Daddy read a Chanukah book, and at the end of the school day Sophie will hand out goodie bags she made for the class that contains: Gelt, a Dreidel and snowflake stickers.
Love the celebrations at Sophie’s and Ben’s schools, and particularly like the Breuner/Ross family day with Sophie’s class. She will remember this for a long time, I think.
