Sophie birthday party II… at Aunt Michelle’s
We celebrated Sophie’s actual birthday at Aunt Michelle’s house and Nana and PopPop.

This year Sophie wanted a small party at a pizzeria with a few friends.

Our babysitter called in sick so Daddy did pickup today.

Trip to Miami
Our trip to Miami was lots of fun. Some highlights:
- It was Ben’s first time on a plane.
- We stayed at a fun hotel and swam every day.
- Grandma and Grandpa drove down to play with us.
- Grandma took Sophie to the American Girl store for her birthday, where she got a new doll and had her hair done (the doll, not Sophie)
- Grandpa got Ben a SpiderBear stuffed animal.
- We played with Jen, Josh, Asher and Henry.
Learning how to make eggs with Asher
Sophie’s Challah Presentation
Sophie’s class is learning about bread, so mommy volunteered do a presentation on making Challah. After two nights of making the dough, they were ready for the presentation.
They stood in front of the class and showed them how to make the dough. Then Sophie demonstrated under the Smart Board camera, how to braid the dough.
Everyone in the class got their own dough ball to knead, roll, braid and take home to bake. Sophie walked around the room and helped her friends roll and braid if they needed some assistance.

We went to see “Norm of the North” with Nili and Shai.

We met Nana, Pop pop, Aunt Michelle and Uncle Dan at Harold`s deli in Edison, NJ, where everything they serve is for 3 or more people.
Tree hugger
Today we swept the leaves away from our tree and used the branches from our neighbors Christmas tree as mulch.
