Last week Sophie went to Momma’s work to help setup her classroom. Afterwards they visited the Math Museum.

Two weekends ago we visited Fort Trylon park. Beautiful park… terrible food. Don’t eat at the New Leaf restaurant.

Construction Camp
Two weeks ago Sophie went to Construction Camp with her friend Talia for one week. Each class starts with the students putting together the table they will be using for the day. She learned how to hammer and drill, and built small beamed walls and furniture.

A few weeks ago we drove to Lackawaxen, PA to stay at our friend Talia’s country house. A deer walked right up to the porch.

We went to our first baseball game, with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Adam and Aunt MaryEllen. The Brooklyn Cyclones vs the Batavia Muckdogs at Coney Island.

Sophie’s swimming!
Sophie’s getting into a pool twice a day at summer camp. She really wants to learn to swim, and has been trying very hard.
This weekend we visited our friend Deb Bart and her son Max. Deb, Hani, Maia and Layla also joined us. We went to the city pool and Sophie swam for the first time!
Driving in the car this weekend and Sophie says: “Daddy. The penis that you have now is not your full penis. When you were a baby it got cut off.”
